Dragon Warrior 3 (GBC): Episode 1.The Journey Begins

Here is the first part of my playthrough of Dragon Warrior 3 for the GBC.

After the great hero Ortega's fall, his son is tasked to continue what his father started. After a few years, as our Hero reached his 16th birthday, he is now ready to continue his father's legacy and fight to save the world from the Demon Lord- Baramos. As the King advised, the Hero recruited 3 companions from Ruida's tavern and thus their journey to defeat Baramos and save the world begins.

This playthrough includes the opening scene where Ortega fell on the volcano. I chose 3 female companions in this game for the following reasons:

1. If your gonna ask me to go on a dangerous journey, what better way than have beautiful girls accompany you. To relieve stress and encourage our hero..
2. Female characters have better stats if they have a sexy personality, which can be done by reading the sexy book or by wearing garter. There are unlimited sexy books in the game, get them froom Divinegon.
3. Female characters have the best armors. The light dress which has 90 defense can also cut damage from spells in half. The light dress can be bought at Zipangu Pachisi track shop on the 4th floor. To unlock the track you also need to defeat Divinegone and get a wish.

The King also gave our hero some sticks and a few Gs to start his quest (some King) so I suggest a little bit of level grinding  during the start of the game to earn some money and make your first quest, the search for the thief key at Najima Temple easier. (As in most RPGs, level grinding during the early parts of the game gets you more accustomed to the game and makes achieving your first mission easier.)
