Last August, I completed 9 playthroughs. Yes, NINE!!! That would be Mega Man 1-6 for tthe NES and Mega Man 1-3 (The Wily Wars) for the Sega Genesis. (Visit my Youtube page here)That's what you get to accomplished if you put your mind to it, and if you happen to have no job and play video games 24/7. (not advisable though). Anyway, this month or perhaps for the next 2-3 months I'll be working on Dragon Warrior 3 for the Gameboy Color. Way back in 2002, I got to play this game and I was actually surprised how good it was. My first RPG was Final Fantasy 7 and after that I also played a couple of RPGs for the Playstation and when I did not know about Dragon Warrior then. I never played the NES game and never knew about RPGs until FF 7 so Dragon Warrior was a pleasant surprise. It did not have the fancy graphics that newer games had but it carries the elements that makes a great RPG. For older gamers this may not come as a surprise because of the popularity of Dragon Warrior back then but for our generation, FF 7 was our first.
I have just recently completed a test run of Dragon Warrior and it looks like it may take a while before I can complete my playthrough since I still need to replay the game a couple of times and test, retest the routes that I would be taking. (aside from the fact that I just got a job). This would not be my first RPG playthrough, I have done Onimusha Tactics for the Gameboy Advance but that did not need much preparations since it is pretty straightforward, it is relatively easy and getting lost in that game is next to impossible. I would be posting the first part soon, just check my Youtube page
