Mega Man X2

I'm a big fan of the Mega Man series, and an even bigger fan of the Mega Man X series. Mega Man (the original blue bomber from the NES) offered great gameplay, memorable characters and awesome music (especially Mega Man 2) but does not deliver much on the plot or storyline. When Mega Man X was introduced for the SNES, it offered something new in the Mega Man franchise, a more mature storyline and better gameplay. In fact, Mega Man X's debut was phenomenal, but X2 did not fail to deliver a sequel that equals or if not surpasses the first.

Mega Man X2 follows the story of X after defeating Sigma in Mega Man X.  Six months after the events of Mega Man X, a new group of Mavericks, named the X-Hunters, have surfaced to challenge and destroy X. With Zero's body parts held by the X-Hunters, X goes on a mission to recover them from the X-Hunters in hopes of reactivating Zero.

Mega Man X was a great game but Mega Man X2 is an even better game. Although some may argue about which is better, I do admit that the first one was influential, for me, X2 offered better gaming. No Hadouken for this one but you can have an even better weapon, the Shoryuken, same as the Hadouken for the first part, this is a one shot kill weapon and what makes it better is that it is easier to hit enemies with this weapon. There's nothing much to say about the game except it was AWESOME, see for yourselves. Here's a playthrough of Mega Man X2.
